MODERN MATERIALS MEET TRADITIONAL WOODCRAFT

At WallArk, modern materials and traditional woodcraft are not opposites – they complement one another. Each has its own strengths and place in an interior.

Our polymer mouldings and ceiling roses, made in Belgium, combine the look of traditional plasterwork with the practical qualities of modern materials. Lightweight and easy to handle, they are designed for straightforward installation.

Our beech mouldings are made in Italy using specialised carving machinery, after which each moulding is inspected by hand. This ensures precise and beautifully finished decorative details.

Carefully designed mouldings and ceiling roses add the finishing touch to both small interior updates and larger projects. Our polymer products are supplied pre-primed, allowing you to paint them with a suitable water-based paint after installation.

Our wooden mouldings are supplied unfinished. Preserve the natural appearance of the wood with a protective varnish or apply a suitable primer before painting them in a colour that complements your interior.

THREE MATERIALS, MANY POSSIBILITIES

WallArk’s polymer collection is divided almost equally between mouldings and ceiling roses made from polyurethane and polystyrene. The material is selected according to the product’s design, size and intended use.

Our collection also includes solid beech mouldings made in Italy. You can find the exact material and its specific properties on each product page.

You can find more information about the technical properties of the materials through the links below.

HOW OUR PRODUCTS ARE MADE

WallArk’s collection brings together Belgian expertise in modern materials and the tradition of Italian woodcraft. Our polymer mouldings and ceiling roses are made in Belgium at a manufacturing facility whose history dates back to 1950. Over the decades, its materials and production methods have been continuously developed to combine precise detailing, practical qualities and lasting performance.

The decorative elements made at the Belgian facility are produced using electricity from renewable sources, part of which is generated by an extensive on-site solar panel installation. All polystyrene production scraps are processed through the factory’s internal recycling system and returned to the production line as raw material for new products. Polyurethane production scraps are repurposed in the manufacture of insulation products, while water used in production is recovered and circulated through a closed-loop system.

Our wooden mouldings are made in Italy by a family-owned company that has worked with solid wood since 1968. Made from FSC®-certified beech, the mouldings are shaped using specialised carving machinery and each piece is then inspected by hand. The result brings together traditional woodcraft and modern manufacturing in beautifully finished details.
